Dimage Minolta A200: This thing shoots really really sharp low noise shots in even the darkest corners of rooms. Write times aren’t that bad, only a bit long if your shooting RAW.
This Camera also has a really cool mode called Ultra-High Speed that shoots like 40 frames a second. Its great for capture really high speed moments in time.
If you can afford it, buy it, it won’t let you down.

This camera literally blew me away when I started using its zoom feature. First of all let me start by saying I am a practicing amatuer astromoner, and quite familiar with quality..This camera posesses an APO lens..Apro chromatic for those who care. I took a picture of a distant mtn in NM, of a feature called “turtle back”.

I was zoomed 12X and after examining the photo on my laptop, I discovered I had captured a pair of hawks in flight against the mountain. In the second photo, one of the hawks was framed perfectly aginst the turtle’s front foot, and I was able to blow it up on my laptop further where I could actually see feathers on the wingline, and the hawk’s beak with little or no pixel distortion..The 6MP really works. I would recommend this camera to any amatuer photographer.

Dimage Minolta Z20: Is it the best camera out there? No. There are better with more options. However, for simplicity and quality, with good features, this is the best for us. The other reason to buy this camera is the price. Under $200. Great buy!
